Real Estate and Thinking

No matter what business you’re in, including real estate, you success depends on your thoughts.  What is the quality of your thought?  Is it positive, helpful, creative, service-oriented, productive?  There is a wonderful quotation in “The Master Key System” by Charles Haanel that goes like this:

Cause and effect is as absolute and undeviating in the hidden realm of thought as in the world of visible and material things.  Mind is the master weaver, both of the interior garment of character and the outer garment of circumstance. –James Allen.

This is why it is critical to monitor your thoughts in order to weed out anything negative or unhelpful.  This is also why it is important to be vigilant about what you take into your mind.  What you read, the television you watch, movies, videos, songs, all these are entering your mind.  Do they contain thoughts you want to keep?  Are they the thoughts that you want to weave into your “interior garment of character and the outer garment of circumstance”?

There are many stimuli vying for our attention.  We might be better served if we focus more on our own internal worlds (our inner minds) to create strong, positive, moral and ethical thinking–this will have the effect of creating a stronger and more positive external world.

Thanks for reading and have a fantastic day full of great thoughts!
